Job Description:
A company is looking for a Privacy Attorney to serve as the
legal lead resource on data protection and privacy matters.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the legal lead on data protection and privacy laws in the
U.S., Canada, and globally
Negotiate data protection terms for client and supplier
agreements
Provide leadership and guidance to local Country Privacy Officers
on new data protection law implementations
Required Qualifications
5+ years of experience in privacy counseling
Active bar admission in any U.S. state
Experience with privacy laws such as CCPA, HIPAA, GLBA, PIPEDA, and
GDPR
Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external
counsel
Experience in leading privacy projects and initiatives
