Senior Managing Consultant Strategy & Transformation
Disbursements
Services within Mastercard is responsible for acquiring, engaging,
and retaining customers by managing fraud and risk, enhancing
cybersecurity, and improving the digital payments experience. We
provide value-added services and leverage expertise, data-driven
insights, and execution. Our Advisors & Consulting Services team
combines traditional management consulting with Mastercards rich
data assets, proprietary platforms, and technologies to provide
clients with powerful strategic insights and recommendations. Our
teams work with a diverse global customer base across industries,
from banking and payments to retail and restaurants.
The Advisors & Consulting Services group has five specializations:
Strategy & Transformation, Performance Analytics, Business
Experimentation, Marketing, and Program Management. Our Strategy &
Transformation consultants lead clients through impactful
decision-making as they tackle strategic, tactical, operational,
and transformational business challenges. They apply a broad set of
problem-solving techniques to improve the clients overall strategy,
performance, and operations.

Roles and Responsibilities
A Senior Managing Consultant focused on leading client engagements
that are focused around Disbursements / Payouts, which may be
consulting in nature or data and analytics driven.
Client Impact
--- Lead a project Delivery team providing best in class insights
and solutions to support clients in defining their strategies for
building, deploying, growing and optimizing products driven by
disbursements capabilities, leveraging digital payment rails
--- Act as a resource to others in identifying creative and
efficient solutions and guide the team to business-focused
solutions and recommendations that drive client value
--- Direct the development of strategies and programs for regional
and global clients by leveraging data and technology solutions to
unlock client value
--- Own senior client relationships from mid-level to C-suite to
drive commercial success
--- Proactively engage on the client agenda, internal culture, and
relationship risks.
--- Serve as a trusted client business advisor and generate
enthusiasm for the Mastercard team and our recommendations
Team Collaboration & Culture
--- Guide team through complex problem solving to business-focused
solutions and recommendations that drive client value
--- Motivate the project delivery team to produce superior quality
deliverables, and create a collaborative and inclusive environment
for all levels
--- Own relationship with internal Mastercard stakeholders
including Product and Business Development to scope projects,
create relevant solutions for clients, and build the firm's
intellectual capital
--- Mentor and coach junior teammates inside and outside of direct
engagement teams
--- Engender effective contribution to Mastercards Commercial and
New Payment Flows knowledge management and best practices
Qualifications
--- Subject Matter Expertise: Strong prior experience with
launching or scaling disbursement features or capabilities in North
America (as a consultant or product manager), including managing
key enabler partnerships, identifying client/prospect pipeline,
sizing and estimating opportunities, assessing technical
capabilities, understanding of key stakeholders required for
execution (internal and vendor)
--- Knowledge and understanding of domestic and cross border
disbursement rails
--- Problem Solving: Leads teams to identify the most critical
aspects of a problem, and guides team to business-focused solutions
and recommendations that drive client value. Initiates changes to
project direction where required, and able to decide and act
without the total picture.
--- Analytic Excellence: Demonstrates a strong aptitude for
structured problem solving and quantitative skills, and leads team
to effective and efficient technical capability usage regardless of
context.
--- Project Management: Clear interest in project delivery with
business clients, and intuition for the way that companies make
decisions.
--- Client Management: Inspire client confidence through timely and
reliable execution, and develop stakeholder management plans to
align priorities and address support and resistance.
--- Communication and Presence: Leads composition of complete
deliverables and other written communication, and demonstrates an
ability to communicate verbally in a wide range of complex
scenarios and up to senior management levels.
--- Commercial Orientation: Ability to identify strong
opportunities to leverage Services capabilities, including
identification of cross-sell opportunities beyond direct project
work, and partner with broader Services teammates on contracting
activities, leveraging knowledge of Services capabilities and how
they fit together to create relevant solutions for clients.
--- Leadership: Instill a sense of urgency, ownership, and
empowerment and thoughtful risk taking into leaders at all levels.

motivators.
--- Diverse Perspective: Brings a unique skillset or approach to
the table in every client engagement or internal activity.
--- Undergraduate or masters degree
--- Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively both verbally
and in writing in English

that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate
will be offered a competitive base salary based on location,
experience and other qualifications for the role and may be
eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role.
