Job Description:
A company is looking for a Sr. Group Voluntary Benefits
Underwriter.
Key Responsibilities
Independently underwrite complex group insurance applications and
approve cases up to 5,000 lives
Provide training and guidance to lower-level group underwriters and
evaluate risk for group insurance products
Contribute to division profitability through client profitability
analysis and participate in product development and
enhancements
Required Qualifications and Education
High School Diploma or GED
3-4 years of experience in group underwriting voluntary
benefits
Strong analytical skills and proficiency in PC applications,
including word processing and spreadsheets
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Bachelor's degree preferred
