Job Description Job Description Transactional Healthcare Attorney Established (est. 90 Years) Premier Firm Seeking Health Care Associate for Health Care Law in Los Angeles, CA An established firm based in Los Angeles with over 90 years in practice is seeking a Health Care Associate with 3 years of experience to join their team onsite or in a hybrid capacity. This Attorney will have experience with health care law, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations while representing clients in advisory, transactional, and litigation matters across the health care delivery system. Offer: Salary range: $150,000-$220,000, contingent on experience Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance Retirement plan Paid time off and firm-recognized holidays Professional development support Qualifications: At least 3 years of experience in health care law. Must be licensed to practice in California and in good standing. Must have experience advising health care providers or related entities on regulatory, transactional, or compliance matters. Demonstrate strong research, writing, and analytical skills. Able to manage multiple matters and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities: - Handle matters involving fraud and abuse, accreditations, certifications, and quality assurance. - Advise on anti-referral legislation, antitrust issues, and medical staff affairs including licensure and consent. - Support health care corporate transactions and financing initiatives. - Work on environmental law and OSHA issues related to health care facilities. - Occasionally advise on real estate transactions and leasing for health care organizations. - Address medical technology, ERM considerations, labor and employment issues, and third-party payment disputes. - Provide counsel on HIPAA and privacy matters. - Represent hospitals, physician organizations, health plans, surgery centers, academic facilities, and other health care providers.
