Details Provide legal counsel and support to K-12 schools and
community colleges on a wide range of operational and legal
matters. Handle both transactional and litigation support in areas
such as real estate transactions, leases, public contracting, and
construction procurement. Advise on contract negotiations,
drafting, and compliance for various agreements, including vendor
and service contracts. Assist in resolving construction disputes
and other facilities-related legal matters. Conduct legal research
and draft memoranda, opinions, and other legal documents. Represent
clients in administrative proceedings and negotiations with public
agencies and private entities. Collaborate with school
administrators, board members, and other stakeholders to ensure
compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Qualifications:
J.D. and licenesed to practice law in CA Minimum of 4 years of
legal experience. Experience in business and facilities law within
the education sector is preferred, but we welcome candidates with
expertise in other transactional and litigation practice areas,
particularly those with defendant-side experience, who are eager to
