Job Description:
The Amazon Web Services Center for Quantum Computing (CQC) in
Pasadena, CA is seeking a Physical Security Program Manager to join
its Quantum Infrastructure and Production team. This team member
will lead design and innovation efforts to develop optimal security
solutions for CQC. As the Physical Security subject matter expert,
this individual will manage multiple projects maintaining regular
communication with project sponsors on status, risks and change
control. Cross-team coordination, project management, and executive
presentation skills are essential. The Physical Security PM will be
a key member of the quantum security operation, working with the
QIP team as well as cross functional leadership teams throughout
the organization. A successful Physical Security PM will have the
ability to manage multiple projects at once, be a self-starter,
possess strong analytical instincts, and can take calculated risks
that may challenge current practices to meet or exceed customer
expectations. Key job responsibilities • Proactively manage changes
in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency
plans • Ensure the project is completed within the estimated budget
and course correct when needed without jeopardizing the outcome or
timeline • Delivery of physical security installations while
ensuring hardware/equipment standards are met and maintained • Act
as an escalation point for the project teams and stakeholders to
manage risks, develop mitigation plans and path to green throughout
project • Enhance, track, and report on metrics which are key
performance indicators, allowing performance improvements so that
the desired outcomes are achieved to plan and in a timely manner •
Utilize Lean and Six Sigma methods to drive process improvements
and increase efficiency A day in the life In this role, you will
collaborate with stakeholders to develop security solutions to
manage and mitigate risks. You will work hand in hand with the
facilities, safety, and IT teams to ensure that security programs
are executed smoothly and efficiently. You will monitor facilities
and security metrics and work to find a root cause and solution to
any anomalies that pop-up. AWS Utility Computing (UC) provides

professional. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS - 3 years of program or project
management experience - 3 years of defining and implementing
process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience -
Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level
and SQL - Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive
improvements - Experience working cross functionally with tech and
non-tech teams PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS - 3 years of driving end to
end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
experience - 3 years of driving process improvements experience -
Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple
stakeholders at varied levels of the organization - Experience

the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base
pay for this position ranges from $66,800/year in our lowest
geographic market up to $142,800/year in our highest geographic
market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market
location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills,
