Job Description This is a small, established practice that’s been serving the local community for 20 years, offering small animal care with some exotics mixed in. The focus is simple and consistent: individualized care, clear communication, and making sure clients understand what’s happening and why. Treatment plans aren’t cookie-cutter, and the team takes pride in seeing cases through instead of passing them along halfway. They’re looking for a Medical Director, and it’s a role with real influence. You’ll have a say in how medicine is practiced day to day, from protocols and workflow to how cases are managed and what the clinic prioritizes. The caseload is primarily small animal general practice, with enough exotic variety to keep things interesting without turning the schedule into a constant scramble. Alongside practicing GP medicine and surgery, you’ll be leading the medical direction of the hospital. That includes setting and maintaining standards, improving how the day runs, and supporting the team in a practical, hands-on way. In a 2-DVM clinic, your leadership won’t get lost in layers, you’ll be able to make decisions that actually stick.
