Job Description:
A company is looking for a Coder III (Medical Coding).
Key Responsibilities
Review and analyze medical records to identify principal and
secondary diagnoses and procedures
Assign codes based on coding guidelines and federal regulations
Provide education and support to physicians for accurate
documentation and coding
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED) required
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience required
One of the following coding certifications is required: CPC, CRC,
or RHIT
Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and disease processes
Experience with encoder software and EMR systems
