Job Description:
A company is looking for a Durable Medical Equipment
Director.
Key Responsibilities
Evaluate high-cost DME requests for medical necessity and
compliance with Medicaid guidelines
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure timely provision
of DME and serve as a clinical resource
Develop and deliver training on DME regulations and contribute to
policy development and performance improvement initiatives
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
Bachelor's degree in occupational therapy (BSOT) with at least
eight (8) years of clinical experience
Minimum of five (5) years of experience in Managed Medicaid
focusing on utilization management or clinical operations
At least three (3) years of direct experience in DME-related
services
Prior leadership or program development experience is required
Active, unrestricted state license as a Licensed Occupational
Therapist (OTR/L) is required
