Executive Director oversees and directs the day-to-day functions
and efficient operations of the community, in accordance with all
federal, state, local and licensing regulations, and all company
policies and procedures. This role also ensures the highest quality
of care for residents, while maintaining the community's financial
stability, and creating a harmonious working environment for all
associates.Responsibilities:Oversee, plan, develop, organize,
implement, manage, control and direct all of the day-to-day
functions and operations of the community including:Consult with
department directors on:Development and implementation of
departmental policies and proceduresEstablish rapport in and among
departments to demonstrate, encourage and promote a spirit of
teamwork and cooperation among associatesIdentify and develop plan
of corrections of problem areasto improve service to
residentsAppoint, delegate and consult with department directors to
assist in correcting problem areas and improving service to
residentsEnsure compliance with all laws, regulations and legal
requirements governing the community and all company policies and
proceduresEnsure that all residents needs are appropriate to the
levels of care for the licensure levels of that communityEnsure
that all residents receive proper services with regard to their
physical, mental & emotional needsEnsure residents are able to
attend activities and community programs/events as desired,
arranging for transportation as necessaryConduct surveys and exit
interviews to determine satisfaction levels and areas for
improvementCollaborate with the Director of Sales to promote and
market the property within the local community by:Implementing
referral and other programs, which are intended to:Reach full
resident occupancy goals of the communityExceed resident occupancy
goals, where local demand actually exceeds current occupancy
limits, which results in a Wait List for future openingsResponsible
for overseeing all operations, finances and reporting
including:Approve all expenditures against budgets and maintain
complete financial records including billing and accounts
receivableMaintain all required education units with complete
understanding and knowledge of all Federal, State and Local
government regulations, as well as trends within the industryEnsure
management team complies with all policies and procedures and
maintains any required continuing education or licensing
updates/requirementsOversee proper physical property maintenance
within the community by ensuring that it is a safe and secure
environment for all residents, guests, visitors and associates
including:Ensure compliance with OSHA requirements, established
safety policies, practices and plansClosely manage all workers'
compensation injuries, investigations, or safety complaintsRecruit,
hire, evaluate, motivate monitor performance, schedule and manage
community staff in the best interest of the residents, and in
accordance with company policy including:Qualifications:Bachelor's
degree in business, healthcare, nursing, or human services, or
preferred or combination of education and experience supervising
others in a senior living, healthcare, or hospitality
environmentMinimum eight to ten years of experience in senior
living, healthcare, hospitality, or related industryMinimum five
years of experience functioning in a leadership role at senior
living operation is requiredCurrent state/federal/local required
certification or license to manage a communityFirst Aid
Certification requiredBackground clearances as required by
government regulationsMust meet health requirements, including TB
and Covid vaccinations
