Move Forward with Volt Volt is immediately hiring for a Quality Inspector in Van Nuys, CA As a Quality Inspector you will: Responsible for inspecting make / buy / reworked products, recording as-built lists, coordinating calibration of company measurement devices, and performing calibration of ESD monitors. Interpret manufacturing drawings, diagrams, specifications, and test procedures. Participate in the continuous improvement process. May interface with customer quality representatives or suppliers. This is a 12-month possible extension opportunity. The ideal candidate will have: Previous experience with electro-mechanical assemblies and calibration of measurement devices Visual Inspection: IPC/WHMA-A-610 / 620 / 7711-77721 Mechanical Inspection: GD&T per ASME Y14.5 Education & Experience Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/associate’s degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.
