Job Description:
A company is looking for a Director - Data Engineering to lead
the design and operation of a cloud-based data platform.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute the Data Engineering and Business Intelligence
strategy for enterprise initiatives
Lead and mentor a team of data engineers, promoting a culture of
innovation and operational excellence
Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of data pipelines,
services, and analytics products
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, engineering,
healthcare, analytics, or a related field; Master's preferred
8+ years of experience in data engineering or software development,
with at least 2 years in a leadership role
3+ years of experience with medical claims in healthcare and/or
managed care
Strong expertise in building scalable ELT/ETL pipelines using
cloud-based services (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure)
Advanced proficiency with SQL and programming languages such as
Python or Spark
