year of experience as an ASL Interpreter in educational settings.

considered. A school located in Escondido, CA, is seeking a skilled
Sign Language Interpreter to facilitate communication between deaf
or hard-of-hearing students and their peers, teachers, and staff.
This role plays a vital part in creating an inclusive educational
environment where all students can thrive. Key responsibilities
include: Providing accurate and clear sign language interpretation
for classroom instruction, school events, and meetings.
Collaborating closely with educators, students, and families to
support effective communication. Adhering to confidentiality and
professional standards at all times. Assisting with communication
during extracurricular activities and school functions as needed.
Traveling between multiple school sites to fulfill interpreting
assignments. Desired qualifications and experience: Proficiency in
American Sign Language (ASL) with strong interpreting skills. Prior
experience in a school or educational setting is preferred. Ability
to interpret complex educational content accurately and
sensitively. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work
with students, faculty, and families. Flexibility to travel locally

Compensation for this position ranges from $29.69 to $49.69.
