Salary: $135,000 - $155,000 per year A bit about us: The Cost Accountant will play a key role in tracking and analyzing product costs, managing inventory valuation, and supporting profitability analysis across multiple retail categories. This individual will work cross-functionally with merchandising, supply chain, and operations teams to ensure cost accuracy and transparency in financial reporting. Supportive and dynamic work environment. Job Details Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA or CMA designation is a strong plus. Minimum of 5 years of hands-on cost accounting experience, preferably within a consumer products manufacturing environment. Deep understanding of cost accounting principles, methodologies, and systems. Proven experience in inventory management, margin analysis, and product cost tracking. Demonstrated ability to develop and report on key product category cost and profitability metrics to support strategic pricing and margin improvement initiatives. Skilled in establishing KPIs, evaluating cost drivers, and implementing cost control procedures. Strong quantitative and analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite. Experience working with ERP systems; familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 is highly desirable.
